Can You Make Money

Whether you like your day job or not, you have to accept that it pays the bills so you have to work on it. After all, we’ve been conditioned to go to school, land a job and make money. But there are ways to break out this norm and it could work for you too.

First, you need to understand that you need a job to make money. Whether you go to the office daily or report to your business, what you do is a job and it does make money. But what if you want to make money more? Would you leave your day job and seek for greener pastures or simply add a greener pasture on top of your existing job?

The answer is dependent on you are and what your goals are. Maybe you like your job so much realize it doesn’t really make money a lot. Then it’s good to consider getting another job that allows you to make money and still keeping hold of your day job.

You must realize though that doing so will entail a lot of hustling. You are going to be busy with this set up. You might have a 9-5 day job, but you have a side hustle that you do from 7-10. It might mean sacrificing some of the things that you’re used to: more time for sleep, entertainment and socializing.

This is where your goals come in. Remember, you’re here to make money, not waste your time. Before diving into any side hustle, gig or second job, it is important that you realize the sacrifices that you need to make to reach your goals. You might want to tackle your student loans once and for all, bring down your credit card debt or finally be able to save down payment for a new home.

Keeping your eye on the prize will allow you to make money without really minding what you have to give up. Think of them as temporary sacrifices to achieve some form of permanent fulfillment. Therefore, you have the best of both worlds: you have a job that you love and you have a job that adds more money.

You just need to be very determined about your goals and be committed with your jobs. Nobody said that making money is always easy. It sometimes is, but not always. But with your goals in sight, you know it’s going to be worth it.
